  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • ½ vegetable oil As a replacement for butter
  • 1 egg


  1. Heat oven to 190 degrees C (or 175 degrees C for dark or non-stick cookie sheets).
  2. Stir softened butter and egg in a medium bowl.
  3. Stir in cookie mix until soft dough forms.
  4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 8-11 minutes if you are using a shiny metal cookie sheet or 7-9 minutes if using a dark or non-stick cookie sheet. Alternatively, note for light golden brown edges for the readiness of the cookie.
  6. Cool for 1 minute before removing it from the cookie sheet.
  7. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Things to Note

The cookie mix contains wheat, milk, egg and soy ingredients. So for those with allergies, do take note.
