Thailand, being a land of GREAT massage, how can we miss out on going for a spa session at one of the many massage places in Bangkok?

Why Divana Massage and Spa?

It was pretty tough to decide on a massage place to go to when there are so many with good reviews but most times, some with mixed reviews. So after much deliberation, we decided to go with Divana Massage and Spa. We had wanted to visit the Divana Virtue Spa after coming by some really lovely photos of the whole setup of the massage place but unfortunately, it was fully booked for the date that we wanted to visit it.

Journey to Divana Massage and Spa

So even though it was quite easy to take a BTS to Asoke station and walk to Divana Massage and Spa, we decided to take a cab instead due to us being lazy asses and not wanting to walk all the way to the Ratchathewi BTS station. Well to be expected, we were kind of caught in the jam a bit though we managed to reach the place on time.

Our Divana Experience

In the outdoor area, we had our welcome drink while waiting for the massage staff to serve us. Unfortunately, that was one of the worse places to be at ‘cos after sitting there for only a few minutes, my legs itch like mad and then I realised I had about 10 mosquito bites?! It was freaking OMG as I kept scratching myself. Then one of the staff noticed and decided to bring us into an air-conditioned area for us to wait. Thank goodness for that but it was already too late by then. I was scarred and itching like mad. (ノД`)

The air-conditioned area that we were being brought to after the itching saga. Nice and elegant place! Was trying to enjoy this nice little place while scratching my legs. I had to bear with the itch before the massage so that was pretty terrible. (。T ω T。)

The items that we can choose for our massage! I assume depending on what massage you’re getting, you will get to choose different items. For us, it was the Aromatherapy Body Massage so we got to choose the aroma that we will want for the massage. (๑•ω•๑)/*҉

So after making the choices and writing the details on the different parts of our body that we will want to focus on or avoid, we were being led to the couple room for our massage! After the massage, we were being served some yummy dragon fruits, bananas and a lemongrass drink! Yum yum after the massage.

Overall Experience

I will say Divana Massage and Spa is a good place to go to for a massage for it is value for money but it is definitely not wow-ing for us. I will say it is above average and I think for most it might even be great considering the number of people who were there when we showed up for our appointment. For now, I might explore some other places that might satisfy us with a better massage. (o´ϖ`o)♬
