After staying a few nights at eqUILIBRIA Seminyak, it was time for us to move on to the next resort in Seminyak! The next resort we have chosen is also a boutique resort called One Eleven Bali. Unlike eqUILIBRIA Seminyak, this resort is slightly further away from the Seminyak main street. But that did not deter us from choosing this place for our remaining nights in Bali. Want to know what is so special about this resort? Well, you got to keep reading then! ⸜( ´ ꒳ ` )⸝

Why We Chose One Eleven Bali

Honestly, I don’t remember how we found One Eleven Bali. Maybe it was one of those travel magazines? Haha! But anyway, the resort is an adult-only resort, and that might be why we chose this place. This means that we will not be hearing the sound of kids playing in our next-door villa while we are chilling in the pool area! P.S. The only other adult-only resort we stayed in was Cempedak Island in Bintan. If you are interested in the adult-only concept, do check it out! (´・ᴗ・ ` )

Besides that, the private villa comes with a really long pool! I think, to date, this might be the resort that has the longest private pool that we have stayed in. Located just one street away from eqUILIBRIA Seminyak, we made our way there after checking out.

Accommodation Options at One Eleven Bali

One Eleven Bali has nine One-Bedroom Villas and one Three-Bedroom Penthouse. I assume since it is branded as an adult-only resort, they are targeting couples instead of people who hang out in groups, and that is why there is basically only one villa type.

The One-Bedroom Villa is HUGE for two people to stay in. I thought the Pool Villa at Alila Villas Uluwatu was huge, but this villa is even bigger! Similar to Alila Villas Uluwatu, you can probably run laps in the villa to clock your steps. Haha! (´・ᴗ・ ` ) Anyway, if you are coming with your friends and family, the one and only penthouse might be worth considering as it fits up to six people. ( ´ ω ` )

Hello, Our One-Bedroom Villa at One Eleven Bali

I don’t remember if we were given any early check-in since we were there early. But anyway, the entrance to One Eleven Bali was SO GRAND AND BEAUTIFUL! It is giving off a Japanese house vibe with the use of wood. There is also a long pavement to our villa, similar to eqUILIBRIA Seminyak, but minus the lovely bamboo trees. Once the staff opened the door, we were being wow-ed by the HUGE space and the long private pool. (★ω★)

Huge Living Area and A Really Long Private Pool

The whole villa is HUGE! Just the living area itself is already so big. I think it can probably fit in a huge group of people if this place can be used for a party. The TV in the living area looks a bit small in comparison to the space. Haha! Anyway, since there is a TV in the bedroom, we hardly use the TV. Heck, we hardly hung out in the living area except before and after we had a dip in the pool. (´・ᴗ・ ` )

The private pool is 14 meters long, which is a length that you will find in a resort’s public pool instead. I did a bit of freestyle swimming, and I can’t believe I am swimming in a pool in my villa. Haha! Usually, when I try to do freestyle swimming in our private villa, probably after two strokes, I am already at the end of the pool. (*/ω\) So for those who love to swim, you will love this villa a lot!

Enclosed Bedroom and a Luxurious Bathroom

The bedroom and bathroom is the only enclosed space in the villa. Hubs and I love to hide in there and enjoy the air-conditioning when the outside gets way too hot to hang around. Wood is being used throughout the whole villa, including the bathroom. And I really love the bathroom A LOT, especially the ladder-like shelf that a lot of luxurious resorts like to use. Haha! I wanted to have it for our apartment, but with limited space, it sadly can’t be done. So every time I see it in a resort, I can’t help loving it. (´꒳`)♡

Besides the spaciousness of the bathroom, the amenities given are also so beautiful! I never thought I would use beautiful to describe bathroom amenities. (*ノωノ) The amenities are in pastel colours, which look so pretty against the wood in the bathroom. The whole bathroom is such a vibe and probably my favourite part of the villa, besides the private pool, of course. Hehe. ( ´ ꒳ ` ) A mosquito repellent was also given, and it was in such a nice packaging as well! Anyway, we did not experience any mosquitoes during our stay at One Eleven Bali since it does regular fogging.

Unique Turndown Service

Usually, once we came back from dinner, our villa would already be prepped for us to have a good night’s sleep. Each night, the resort would provide something unique during its turndown service. One time, it was a pillow mist, so you can use it to make your pillow smell nice for a good night’s sleep! Another time, there was a chocolate body scrub, which is thoughtful since couples could use it for a romantic time. (´ ω `♡)

Dining at One Eleven Bali

Breakfast Freshly Prepared in Front of Us

Unlike many resorts where we place our order and the food will be brought to us, at One Eleven Bali, chefs will come to our villa to cook for us. This is probably common in bigger private villas, but I didn’t expect this from a boutique resort. I guess that’s why they called it a boutique resort. ( ´ ω ` )

Chefs preparing our breakfast in our villa at One Eleven Bali

We let the resort know what we wanted from the breakfast menu the day before. Then, the chef would bring along the ingredients and cook for us in our villa’s kitchen the next day. ( ´ ꒳ ` ) This is rather interesting as we could watch the chef prepare our food. If you are interested in cooking, you might be able to learn a dish or two from them as well! Anyway, We didn’t want to stress them out, so we decided to hang around in the living area until breakfast was laid out on the dining table. Food, in general, was simple but not too bad. How can freshly-cooked meals go wrong right? (ᵔ◡ᵔ)

Amazing Meal at Shiro Sushi

Shiro Sushi is the only restaurant in One Eleven Bali, and the food there was AMAZING. Our package includes a meal at this Japanese restaurant, and I was glad that we dined there. I totally did not expect to have such an authentic Japanese meal in a resort in Bali! The food might look simple, but everything was fresh and super delicious. I highly recommend coming to Shiro Sushi if you are craving Japanese food in Seminyak!

Light Snacks & Dessert from the Resort

While hanging out in the living area after our pool time, hubs and I also ordered some light snacks and dessert to fill our stomachs. Too bad we didn’t discover GoJek back then. It would be so convenient to have random local snacks or desserts at any time of the day at an affordable price while we chill in the villa. ( ´ ω ` )

Spa Experience at One Eleven Bali

One Eleven Bali does not have any public facilities in the resort. But, they offer spa services. There is a private spa gazebo in every villa, so the massage was done in our villa. We have never had a massage in our villa before, so we were kind of looking forward to it. Sadly, it was probably one of the most uncomfortable massages we have ever had. (´-ω-`)

Since the spa gazebo is out in the open, with its glass doors, it absorbs A LOT of heat. Even though there was air-conditioning and a fan inside the gazebo, it was SO WARM. The air-conditioning probably wasn’t powerful enough to cool down the whole area. Our mistake was probably to have our massage session in the daytime. Gaaaaah. ٩(× ×)۶

Aside from the warmth, the music they were using was quite off. I don’t really think it is suitable for a spa session. Haha! Anyway, hubs and I totally couldn’t relax with the heat and music. I don’t even remember anything about the massage because I couldn’t wait for the session to end. Haha! (×_×) Anyway, I recommend having the massage in the evening or night for a cooler experience. Alternatively, I recommend checking out Alila Spa at Alila Seminyak. It is our favourite place for a massage when in Seminyak! ( *ˊᵕˋ* )⸝

Overall Experience

Putting aside the spa session, we totally enjoyed our stay at One Eleven Bali. The long private pool was such a luxury. Even though I suck at swimming, with this pool, I had to swim at least once in there. (´・ᴗ・ ` ) If you love to swim, I definitely recommend staying at One Eleven Bali’s private pool villa! (@´ー`)ノ゙
