Time to Review 2015!

Hey all, I am back!!! At least for today, the last day of 2015, I decided to come back to write an entry to review my 2015 before moving into 2016 with my new year resolution. 🙂

2015 is definitely not an easy year for me, especially at work. I have already lost count of how many times I have actually cried because of my work. But I have also lost count of the number of times I was smiling to myself or even jumping around when a great show was done. 2015 has brought about a lot of ups and downs in my work but at the end of every event, I have always learned a lot.

I was given various opportunities this year to manage some relatively bigger events considering I wasn’t even with the company for that long. Once again, I will like to thank my boss for firstly giving me the opportunity to join the family 2+ years back when I came in with zero knowledge of how to run an event and always giving me the chance to grow with the family, mentoring me to what I am now. I definitely still have a long way to go and still have a lot to learn.

Of course, I can never thank my husband enough for all the support he has been giving me this year. He has seen me cry. He has heard me rant. He has always been there for me when I needed a shoulder to lean on or cry on. Without him, I definitely will never be where I am today, doing what I am doing now. I have said to him before that I don’t think I am the best wife. Because of work, sometimes I am not able to celebrate all the memorable anniversaries together. But he said he has never minded that before and that I am silly to even think about that. I guess I am silly but I have already reminded myself that I will definitely always make time for him as much as I can.

This year I have also decided to really keep fit and healthy so I have embarked on Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide (BBG). It surely is a tough journey for Feng and me to complete 11 weeks of workout but we did it! And then it’s back to being busy and we totally neglected the workout again. I have rebooted BBG 1 Round 2 now and will definitely try to keep to it as long as my schedule allows me to. I am also going to keep reminding myself to make exercising part of our way of life so that we will never neglect it.

My health hasn’t exactly been the greatest this year considering I have been coughing for months. I wanted to get an x-ray but lazy me hasn’t been wanting to do so. But I want to get my health back. I want to get fit. I have promised myself that 2016 is the year that I will get myself healthy and donate my blood for the first time in my life. This is my goal for 2016 and I am definitely working towards it.

2015 is definitely not an easy year but it definitely was an eventful year for me. Lots of ups and downs but that is how people grow. We all grow through fighting all the challenges that are brought to us. As we are one day away from 2016, let’s all review everything that has happened in 2015 and look toward making ourselves even better for 2016. Let’s all make 2016 an even greater year! Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!
